35+ years providing direct services to children as
an occupational therapist and a teacher,.

My goal: To promote growth in children through 
playful activities that strengthen motor, emotional, 
social, and cognitive abilities.... 
And, just as important, to reach out to teachers, 
parents, and caregivers, to increase their understanding 
and provide ideas for them to use with their children.....

In our group activities, children will.....Use their imaginations.....Learn to move in different ways.....Watch others and then try something new......Increase their independence..... and more!

*Presenter at 12+ inservices in New Jersey, Ohio, New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts for teachers, parents, caregivers, and other professionals to 
develop skills using sensorimotor groups with children.
*Elementary Teacher (K, 1, 2, & Resource Teacher, Reading, Gr. 6), Compton Unified School District, Compton, CA. Member of a program supervised by Madeline Hunter, UCLA, and the Compton Unified School District focused on training     teachers to enrich students' learning using in-class learning centers and active learning lessons.
